ABDOMINAL PAIN PANEL - Woman
If you experience abdominal pain of uncertain origin (acute), we have created this panel for you. After receiving the results, we recommend that you consult with our internist for this package, who can help you get more detailed information.
The abdominal pain panel includes:
- fasting sugar concentration: blood sugar
- kidney function parameters: urea, uric acid, creatinine, total, direct bilirubin
- amount of intra- and extra-cellular ions: sodium, potassium
- the function of liver enzymes: GOT, GPT, Gamma-GT, alkaline phosphatase, LDH
- extended examination of urine: complete urine + sediment
- for women: HCG
- the current state of the hematopoietic system: blood count
- examination of enzymes: amylase, (an enzyme that breaks down starch) lipase, (helps break down fats, an elevated value may also indicate pancreatic disease) cholinesterase
- blood clotting time and the function of the proteins that help it: Prothrombin (PI)+INR
- CRP
Things to do before sampling:
The test must be performed on an empty stomach, which means that it is not recommended to eat in the 12 hours before the blood test. Drinking water is allowed.
